From 16th century British rulers and the archives of the European schools of art, hand-painting on tea trays has been referred to as “Tole”.

Jayes has carried this form of gracious gift giving into this century and into your homes.

We are celebrating our 31st year of our tradition of commitment to family and community in rural villages where the first pieces of Jaye’s Tole were painted and this idea began. Today, the initial group of ten artisans has grown into a socially conscious community of women and men consisting of the same families and individuals that took part in what has become a movement.

The income generated from Jaye’s Tole contributes toward socially responsible education and health programs and incorporates a quality of life where quality did not exist before.

Jayes consists of women and men of all circumstances and geography. Together we would like to thank our customers for their patronage over the last 31 years.
